You Should Drink Watermelon Juice Every Day. Here is why

A lot of people assume that watermelon juice is simply water with a little flavor, but this sweet-tasting fruit has much more to offer in terms of health benefits. Watermelon is surprisingly good for you and recent research is showing that eating this sweet tasting melon, and particularly drinking it as fresh juice, can have some significant health benefits.
Watermelon juice is a refreshing way to recover from a workout, not only because of taste, but due to an amino acid called L-citrulline. There aren’t many fruits that can supply a good dose of L-citrulline, but watermelon can. Watermelon not only moistens the body and the cells, it also flushes out the kidneys, gall bladder and bladder.
Watermelon juice helps protect our liver through its impressive alkaline effect upon our body. It does the same with all our organs and tissues, but it is well known for helping the liver in detoxifying itself.
Loaded with Antioxidants

Watermelon juice is rich in some of nature’s most potent antioxidants. It is a great source of vitamin C and beta-carotene (which turns into vitamin A in the body). These powerful antioxidants are the natural antidote to aging and disease causing free radicals. They are at the root of most illnesses. Vitamin C and beta-carotene neutralize these damaging molecules so that we can defy age naturally. A diet high in these two vitamins is known to reduce the risk of heart disease, asthma, arthritis, and even cancer. They also boost the immune system and improve eyesight.
Loaded with Lycopene
Lycopene is a powerful antioxidant. As with most antioxidants, lycopene is very effective at getting rid of free radicals, which cause inflammation.
One study shows that a higher intake of lycopene rich food has protective effects against cancer, especially against colon, stomach, pancreatic, prostate and lung cancer. The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition published a study which found that people who had colorectal polyps, which is an early warning sign for colorectal cancers, had 35% lower levels of lycopene than those with no polyps.
Lycopene’s antioxidant and UV-blocking capabilities naturally make it a valuable weapon in the battle against aging skin. It protects cells and other structures in the body from oxygen damage and even DNA damage.
Watermelon Juice is High in B6
Vitamin B6 is vital for balancing the brain and reducing the symptoms of anxiety and depression. It is also a very good hormone regulator and helps women through their menstrual cycle.
When you juice watermelon, the minerals, vitamins and nutrients will all broken down and be made compact so your body can absorb the nutrients more.
